Universal Light Expo
Pics!
January 25th
2006 Another year is under way and we are enjoying it
already. At this point all products are in stock and we expect
for that to be the case throughout the year. Along with our
salt lamps we have been actively seeking out new products from the
trans-Himalayan region. Mala beads, nepalese bracelets,
tibetan handicrafts and more. We urge everyone interested in
our products to check out the eBay
store and see what is available. You won't believe
our prices nor the quality of items that we are offering.
Thank you for taking the time to see what we have and we hope you
have enjoyed the experience.
November 10th
2005 Well unfortunately we are not able to attend the
Victory of Light Expo. Perhaps next year. However, there
is a brand new Holistic Health Expo on February 12th at the
Sharonville Convention center in Cincinnati. We are in the
process of registering for this event. Other then that not a
whole lot to report at this junction. I'll update with more
information at a later time. I can tell you that we are in
conversations with a number of individuals concerning some very
interesting products from Tibet and Nepal. Our eBay store
should become more mystical here shortly. Good
day!
October 12th 2005 Just wrote
an email to the Victory of Light Psychic Expo coordinator trying to
see if there is still time for us to attend. It is held at the
Sharonville Convention center in Cincinnati Ohio on November 19th
and 20th. It was described to me as the second biggest
expo of this type. They wrote to us some time ago asking for
us to attend but we were unsure if we would be up to it being so
close to the Universal Light Expo. After the response we
received at ULE though we very much want to attend and speaking
with other's who previously attended the Victory of Light Expo
I would urge everyone to attend if possible.
Hope to see you all there. Even if we can't get a
booth we most likely will attend to see you all and check out the
speakers.
October 11th 2005 Recently
we've had the pleasure of meeting some old friends as well
as new customers face to face at the Universal Light Expo in
Columbus Ohio. This being an online business we seldom get the
oppurtunity to meet and talk with our customers so we thought it
would be nice to create a more personal page where I can
discuss updates and happenings in our lives.
First of
all, I'd like to say that if you have never been or didn't make it
to this years Expo you are really missing out! We were so busy
that unfortunately we didn't have the time to experience any of the
great speakers present but there was a multitude to choose
from. What I can say about my experience was that never before
was I at a more peaceful environment. People were smiling,
talking, exchanging ideas and teaching each other little bits of
wisdom they have acquired. Ranging from Tibetan monks to
Wiccans to Elves, Fairies, Goddesses and Buddhists, to name a few,
there was a belief, religeon or Spirituality for
everyone. During my three days there I did not see one
argument or hear one bad word spoken of another.
Truly it was a magical time and I can hardly wait to return
next year.
During our final day at the Expo we were
informed of the horrific earthquake in Pakistan which is the
country that mines the Himalayan Salt that we all love. I have
spoken with our supplier and he and his family are ok but rather
shaken up. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone
affected.

Pics!
 Here we are posing
for a pic in front of our booth. A set-up which focused on
simplicity and emphasized the positive energy of the salt
lamps. Centered on the table was a most impressive 150lb
Buddha head.
Two close-ups of the Buddha. A fantastic item
that was on loan from a friend of ours that personally travels to
the Trans-Himalaya region. Interestingly though people seemed
to be more drawn to the lamps then the towering statue.

At a booth next to ours was the
Penta-Sphere exhibit. The power of the sphere can be felt
standing near the exhibit but to experience the full effect one must
sit inside. An extreme feeling of peace and vitality rippled
through me as I meditated and I would strongly encourage anyone who
has the oppurtunity to try this miraculous device.
The Tibetan monks were my favorite guests.
They were in my hometown awhile ago constructing the sand mandala
but I was unable to attend. This time I was able to witness
the process from start to finish. From the ceremonious
clanging of cymbals and blaring of trumpets to the final sweeping
away of the mandala it was a marvelous experience for all. A
special note for you who are thinking of our singing bowls: At one
point on Saturday Josh was using our antique singing bowl,
pre-Chinese invasion one, and one of the monks was walking by.
He came over to watch and got closer putting his ear up to it.
He got a big smile on his face and shook his head yes which we took
as him acknowledging the authenticity of it. It was a special
moment for us. We were not able to talk with him but the
little moment we shared will be remembered for some time to
come.

That's all for now. Hope to add more pics of the Victory of
Light Expo next month! Enjoy yourselves one moment at a time
and show love to those you meet on the way!
